The run and a few rules
The Veterans Memorial 150 consists on open roads and rail trail that spans a course from Lake Michigan in Ludington to Saginaw Bay in Bay City.  It can be ran solo, or as a  team.  Registration closes on April 30, 2018, or sooner at the discretion of Run Staff.

The over-all time limit is 52 hours, which begins 8:00 May 26, 2018, and concludes 12:00 May 28, 2018

In order to get credit for the leg of the course, you must enter and leave by the time the aid station closes.  Course sweepers  will be on the course, if you're swept, you're out for that leg.  If you want to take a break and jump back in, please do, but understand that the sweepers are there for your safety.

If you choose to run faster than the aid station schedule for whatever reason, aid will not be guaranteed.

You are responsible for all of your own transportation.  If you drop at an aid station and you have no ride, and room is available in one of the crew cars, we will try to assist you, but no guarantees. 

Pacers are allowed for anyone who registered for 100 plus miles started at Baldwin.  Your pacer must fill out a waiver on race day when they check in.  Every runner will be allowed one pacer on the course at a time. 

Runners must check in with run staff when they arrive, and check out when they leave.  Failure to check out will result in a DNF given, and creates a safety risk for the runner and run staff.

Drop bags are allowed at all aid stations.  Label them with your name, and the aid station they should be located at. 

100 mile finisher buckles will be awarded to any runner who registers for 100 plus miles, and runs more than 100 continuous miles in 52 hours, but does not finish the entire course.

Special 150 mile finisher buckles will be awarded to any runner who registers for 100 plus miles, and runs the entire course under 52 hours.

50% discounts will be offered to Military Veterans for registration, use coupon code "VETERAN" at registration.

This run is the capstone event for the 501(c)(3) charitable organization VM150, which raises funds for worthy Veterans Service Organizations.  Please consider a tax deductible donation beyond your race registration fee.  Please note that fund raising is not required, although if you choose to donate, please note that 100% of net proceeds on July 31, 2018 will be donated to our charity partner.
